Janet Monroe

Senior Paralegal

A California native by birth, because of her father’s work, she called numerous places home while growing up. Janet spent much of her formative years living in many places including Europe. However, Janet comes by her love of the Rocky Mountain West and Colorado, in particular, through her mother’s family who are Weld County natives. A psychology major at the University of Wyoming, she also has a paralegal background. Her primary responsibility at the Firm is working with Senior Managing Partner Mark Tschetter as his assistant. Janet coordinates our Firm’s benefits package for the attorneys and staff as well as working with General Manager Terry Hughes on staff training and human resource administration. She also manages some special projects and provides legal research and support for all of the Firm’s attorneys. Janet’s keen intellect and organizational skills are invaluable assets for the Firm. Prior to joining the Firm, Janet was employed by a major financial services institution and involved in all phases of financial services and planning. An avid reader and movie buff, she is both a practitioner and certified instructor of yoga. Janet has been a volunteer at Ocean Journey and is presently active in the Fairmount Heritage Foundation dedicated to the preservation and protection of Fairmount’s history, flora, fauna, and statuary. A seasoned traveler, Janet spends her vacations traveling to many different countries and has indicated a desire to learn and master the Spanish language.
